In Australia, "Cold Heart" debuted at number seven before reaching number one in its twelfth week. This also made John the first solo artist with UK Top 10 singles in six different decades. It marks Elton John’s eighth number-one single in the UK and first in 16 years, as well as Dua Lipa’s third number-one single. In the United Kingdom, "Cold Heart" reached number one on the official singles chart, in its ninth week of release, with 64,000 chart sales, including 5.9 million streams and 5,000 copies from the limited edition CD single, after spending three consecutive weeks at number two.
